An innovative Thin block designed to reduce the amount of glue used, while creating the most secure bond possible. The ideal hoof Thin block for herds having issues with ‘white line disease’ or sole ulcers. Unique application process; the Thin block is held on the hoof as the glue is being injected in the hole at the bottom the Thin block. There are spacers on the Thin block to ensure the proper thickness of glue is applied. The Y-shaped glue canal delivers the glue to the exact location between the Thin block and the hoof. This creates a permanent bond between the Thin block and the glue with little waste or mess. The inside heel of the Thin block is elevated to prevent glue from entering the soft spot of the cow’s heel, while giving support as she walks, without pinching.

Begin by trimming the hoof flat and make sure it is completely dry and free of debris. Apply a thin strip of glue on the white line of the axial and ab axial wall of the hoof or Thin block. Then quickly place and hold the Thin block on the hoof. Insert the glue tip in the glue injection hole on the bottom the of the Thin block. Inject 1 to 2 pumps of glue into the Y shaped canal. Hold the Thin block in place for 30 seconds and wait the recommended curing time according to the glue manufacturer.
