IV Fluids

IV fluids are fluids that are given to beef cattle intravenously, or directly into the bloodstream through a vein. These fluids are used to replenish lost fluids and electrolytes, to provide nutrients, and to support the overall health of the animal.

IV fluids are typically used in beef cattle when the animal is dehydrated, has lost a significant amount of fluids due to illness or injury, or is in need of additional nutrients. IV fluids can be given as a single dose or as a continuous infusion, depending on the needs of the animal.
