The internal shape creates a pump-like effect as the calf bites it. The first biting action closes the base end of the teat and further mouth closure forces milk out through the tip. The Fast-Flow calf teat should be mounted at the most ideal suckling height for the calves being reared, with the delivery tubing descending into the milk container. Excal Fast-Flow teat is fitted into .8" diameter drilled hole. Grower: Designed as a starter teat as the animal gets stronger and starts chewing the teat. This teat is made of stronger, harder rubber that is long lasting.

Stop Valves: Excal tube and teat stop valve is a one piece plastic molding with a stainless steel ball. The valve stem is suitable for plastic tube and the stop valve can assist the calf suckling.

Elbow Valves: The valve enhances suckling for newborn or weak calves, but it can be susceptible to blockage when used with some types of powder-mix milk. The elbow valve should be placed in the teat to ensure suction from the bottom of the bucket or feeder.
