Vacutainer Tube Holder

The Vacutainer Needle Holder is for use with blood collection needles and tubes. It allows you to draw blood from the jugular vein of animals directly into a blood collection tube. The clear Vacutainer One Use Needle Holder is a standard plastic holder that accepts disposable and reusable double-ended needles with threaded hubs. The holders convert the BD Vacutainer tube and needle into a syringe-like assembly that facilitates use. They help customers to comply with the OSHA safety and health information bulletin on the disposal of contaminated needles and blood tube holders.

Attach a new, sterile blood collection needle to the Vacutainer Needle Holder. Once you have pierced the vein, insert the blood tube on the inside of the Vacutainer, allowing the blood to collect directly into the blood tube. Allows you to easily draw blood from the vein directly into the blood collection tube. The BD Vacutainer one-use holder is compatible with the entire BD Vacutainer blood collection system: the BD Vacutainer Eclipse blood collection needle, the BD Vacutainer Safety-Lok blood collection set, BD Vacutainer push button blood collection sets and BD Vacutainer multiple sample luer adapters.
