Large wire channel accommodates all wire sizes including the heaviest barbed wire, the lightest gauge smooth wire electric fence wire. Provides long arcing distance protection from wire to post. The Zareba yellow snap-on 5 in extender T-post Insulator extends the wire 5 in from the post. This yellow insulator fits securely on standard (1-1/4 in or 1.33 in) studded T-posts. No hardware is needed to put this insulator on a post. Protects existing fence by extending electric fence wire 5 inches off the T-post. Special wrap design secures insulator to post. Can use with polywire, polyrope, steel or aluminum wire.
