Merck Animal Health Safe-Guard Dewormer Paste (fenbendazole) 290 gm is indicated for beef and dairy cattle. The cattle wormer is designed for the removal and control of lungworms, stomach worms and intestinal worms. This cattle worming paste treats up to 58 animals weighing up to 220 lb. each. for best results, this cattle worming medicine should only be used with Safe-Guard dosing equipment (sold separately).Treats lungworms (Dictyocaulus viviparus), stomach worms including barberpole worms (Haemonchus contortus/placei), brown stomach worms (Ostertagia ostertagi) and small stomach worm (Trichostrongylus axei) and intestinal worms including hookworms (Bunostomum phlebotomum), thread-necked intestinal worms (Nematodirus helvetianus), small intestinal worms (Cooperia punctata & C. oncophora), bankrupt worms (Trichostrongylus colubriformis) and nodular worms (Oesophagostomum radiatum)

Take the Fecal Egg Count Reduction Test (FECRT) to determine if there is potential parasite resistance with your current dewormer. Talk to your veterinarian about the efficacy of your dewormer.

Safe-Guard Paste is a dewormer that is safe for use in dairy and beef cattle. Milk taken during treatment and for 96 hours after the last treatment must not be used for human consumption.
