Neporex 2SG [11 lb]

Neporex 2SG Fly Larvae Control is for use of controlling fly larvae in animal housing operations. This water-soluble granule is appropriate for dry scattering or spraying. Safe for use in cattle, hog, and poultry operations to reduce nuisance flies. Neporex contains 2% Cyromazine, a growth regulator which interrupts the molting process of fly larvae. Does not kill adult flies. It attacks fly larvae and prevents them from shedding their skins and turning into adult flies. For housefly, lesser housefly, stable fly and soldier fly control in cattle, hog, and poultry operations; including layer and breeder chicken coops, and horse barns. Neporex can be used simultaneously or alternatively with fly adulticides and is thus an important component of any integrated fly control program.

Prevents fly larvae from developing into flies, using larvicide cyromazine. Because it does not directly kill adult flies, the decrease in fly populations occurs gradually and becomes visible within 1 to 2 weeks after initial application. Repeat every 3 to 4 weeks during fly season to keep each subsequent generation of flies from developing. Mix 1 lb. granules per 1 gallon water to treat 200 sq. ft. Spray or scatter granules on all areas where manure, spilled feed and/or moisture accumulate, including barn and stall floors. Neporex 2SG does not kill beneficial bugs or fly predators, and can be used in conjunction with them and/or insecticides.

Dry Scattering: Apply Neporex 2SG directly and evenly on the fly breeding sites. Use dry scattering only in case of wet or liquid manure. Wear gloves when scattering.

Spraying: Thoroughly mix the indicated quantity of Neporex 2SG with the corresponding volume of water. Apply as a course low-pressure spray on fly breeding sites with hand-pressurized or power-operated sprayers, or other suitable spray equipment.

Treatment interval: The recommended treatment interval depends on management and housing systems as well as on climatic conditions. It can vary from 21 days up to several months. More specific recommendations are given in the application schedules on product packaging. Do not apply more frequently than once every 21 days.
