Milk Products 2402440 NT Concentrated Scour and Pneumonia Treatment [25 Ib]

Milk Products NT Concentrate for Calves is a pneumonia and scour treatment medicated feed. Calf NT Concentrate is a supplement to be mixed with non-medicated calf milk replacer and then dispersed into warm water and fed to calves. Contains 10 g/lb of oxytetracycline and neomycin sulfate, the maximum allowable amount for calves to treat bacterial enteritis (scours) caused by E. coli and bacterial pneumonia caused by Pasteurella multocida. Also, for treatment and control of colibacillosis (bacterial enteritis, scours). When mixed with non-medicated milk replacer, it results in a Type C dry medicated milk replacer. Labeled for beef and dairy calves. Ideal for calves up to 250 lb to treat scours and pneumonia susceptible to oxytetracycline and neomycin. Contains an antibiotic combination which is great for treating scours and pneumonia in young calves.

Instructions
Feed at rate to deliver 10 mg/lb bodyweight daily.

To make a Type C dry medicated milk replacer: Mix 0.1 lb of this Type B NT Concentrate into 0.9 lb of dry non-medicated milk replacer to make a Type C complete feed containing 1000 mg oxytetracycline per lb of dry milk replacer (2000 g per ton) and 1000 mg neomycin sulfate per lb of dry milk replacer (2000 g per ton).

Mix 1 lb of product from the mixture above in 1 gallon of water and feed 2 quarts of Type C medicated liquid feed twice daily to provide 1000 mg of oxytetracycline and 1000 mg of neomycin sulfate for each 100 lbs of calf bodyweight. Feed the Type C medicated feed in place of normal calf milk replacer continuously for 7 to 14 days.
