Maintaining a healthy population of beneficial bacteria in the intestine helps keep the animal on track. Supplementation with the beneficial bacteria and yeast cultures in Medic Booster Calf can aid your calf&rsquos transition to solid feed. Enclosed scoop holds 1 tablespoonful (approximately 1/2 ounce) when level full.
Directions for use:
Calves: One tablespoonful (approximately 1/2 ounce) per calf per day, or one pound per 35 head per day for the first two weeks. One teaspoonful (approximately 1/6 ounce) per calf per day, or one pound per 100 head per day from two weeks until slaughter or weaning. Use 4 lbs. per ton of calf starter feed (4 lbs. will treat five head for approximately 50 days).
Pigs: 1/2 to 1 tablespoonful per litter per day top dressed on starter feed. Mix in pig feed at the rate of 4 lbs. per ton
Lambs and Kids: 1/2 teaspoon per head top dressed on feed daily, or use 4 lbs. per ton of starter feed.
Horses and Foals: Top dress 1 teaspoonful daily, or add 4 lbs. per ton of foal creep or grower. Add 2 lbs. per ton of feed for mature horses.
Dairy Cattle: During periods of reduced feed intake, top dress one tablespoonful per cow per day.
