 For synchronization of estrus in cattle to reduce labor costs and increase efficiency in reproductive programs. The most used prostaglandin product in the United States, Lutalyse is entirely natural. Lutalyse is indicated for estrus synchronization, treatment of unobserved (silent) heats and post-partum treatment of pyometra (chronic endometritis or infection of the uterus) in cattle. The only prostaglandin approved to be used with EAZI-Breed CIDR cattle inserts in dairy heifers and cows. An entirely natural prostaglandin, Lutalyse can be used with Factrel for estrous synchronization.

A synchronized breeding program can improve pregnancy rates, reduce time necessary for heat detection, make more efficient use of labor and reduce cull rates.

Directions: For estrus synchronization, administer 5 ml intramuscularly either once or twice at 10 to 12 days intervals. For treatment of unobserved (silent) heats inject a 5 ml dose intramuscularly. If estrus has not been observed by 80 hours post injection, breed at 80 hours. If cow returns to estrus, breed at usual time. For treatment of pyometra (uterine infection) post-partum inject a dose of 5 ml intramuscularly.No meat or milk withdrawal.

Warnings: No milk discard or slaughter withdrawal when used correctly in cattle. If this product is used more than the approved dose it may result in drug residues. Do not use in horses intended for human consumption.
