Joint Combo Classic [3.75 lb]

Horse Health Joint Combo Classic contains glucosamine HCI and chondroitin sulfate, along with the cofactors manganese and ascorbic acid, in a palatable, cinnamon apple-flavored pellet. Glucosamine and chondroitin are found naturally in the bodies of animals and are necessary for normal joint function. Glucosamine is a natural precursor of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) and hyaluronic acid. Chondroitin is the primary GAG found in cartilage. Manganese is an important cofactor for the formation of GAGs and ascorbic acid is required for collagen formation. Together, they act synergistically to support healthy joint function.

Dosage: Loading dose - 3 oz morning and night for 3-4 weeks; 1 oz daily for maintenance. 1 scoop = 1 oz.

Warnings: FOR USE IN HORSES ONLY. RECOMMENDED TO SUPPORT HEALTHY JOINT FUNCTION. Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. Consult with your veterinarian before using this product in animals: with clotting disorders; being treated with anticoagulant medications; diabetes, or any metabolic disorder causing hyperglycemia; history of urinary tract stones; known allergies to shellfish. If lameness worsens, discontinue use and contact your veterinarian. Administer during or after the animal has eaten to reduce incidence of gastrointestinal upset.
