Gil H.D. Acid [15 Gallon]

Keep out of reach of children. This material is harmful to aquatic life. Contains phosphoric acid (CAS#7664-38-2) and nitric acid (CAS#7697-37-2). • Do not breathe dusts, mists or vapor.
Use only with adequate ventilation. Do not get in eyes or on skin or clothing. Wear protective gloves and clothing. Wear eye or face protection. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Wash hands, forearms and face thoroughly after handling or before eating, smoking or using the lavatory. Keep only in original container. Absorb spillage to prevent material damage. Store locked up in a corrosive resistant container with a resistant inner liner below 40°C. Do not store with oxidizers and flammables.

FIRST AID

IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Immediately call a poison center or doctor.
IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a poison center or doctor.
IF ON SKIN (OR HAIR): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Immediately call a poison center or doctor.
IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a poison center or doctor. Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting.

Spill Clean-Up and Disposal Keep people out of area. Put on appropriate protective equipment. Do not touch or walk through spilled material. Avoid contact of spilled material and runoff with soil and surface waterways. Absorb/neutralize liquid material. Use a tool to scoop up solid or absorbed material, and put into appropriate labeled container. Use a warm water rinse for final clean-up.

DISPOSAL: Avoid disposal. Attempt to use product completely in accordance with intended use. Dispose of in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.
RCRA class: Unused product is D002 (Corrosive).

CIP Cleaning of Pipelines and Milk Transfer Systems

1. Rinse equipment thoroughly and immediately after milking with warm (100°F) water. Drain.
2. Wash equipment using 1 oz. Gil Farm CIP #4 to 3 gallons 160°F water. Circulate solution for 8-10 minutes. Drain. Rinse with cool water. Drain.
3. Acid rinse equipment using 1 oz. of this product to 12 gallons warm water. Circulate solution for 2-3 minutes. Rinse with cool water. Drain.
4. Sanitize equipment just prior to reuse with 1 oz. Gil Mikro-San to 6 gallons water OR 1 oz. Gil Chlor 12.5 || to 5 gallons water. Circulate solution for at least 2 minutes. Drain.

CIP Cleaning of Bulk Tanks

1. Rinse tank thoroughly and immediately after emptying with warm (100°F) water. Drain.
2. Wash tank using 1 oz. Gil Farm CIP #4 to 3 gallons 160°F water. Close lids and circulate solution for 8-10 minutes. Brush wash outside of tank manually (see below). Rinse tank inside and out with cool water. Drain. Dismantle and wash outlet valve.
3. Acid rinse equipment using 1 oz. of this product to 12 gallons warm water. Rinse with cool water. Drain.
4. Sanitize inside of tank and outlet valve just prior to reuse with 1 oz. Gil Mikro-San to 6 gallons water OR 1 oz. Gil Chlor 12.5 II to 5 gallons water. Circulate solution for at least 2 minutes. Drain.

Manual Cleaning of Bulk Tanks and Utensils

1. Rinse equipment thoroughly and immediately after milking with warm (100°F) water. Drain.
2. Brush wash equipment using 1 oz. Gil Chlorinated Bulk Tank and Utensil Cleaner to 1 gallon warm water. Rinse tank inside and out with cool water. Drain. Dismantle and wash outlet valve.
3. Acid rinse equipment using 1 oz. of this product to 12 gallons warm water. Rinse with cool water. Drain.
4. Sanitize inside of tank and outlet valve just prior to reuse using 1 oz. Gil Mikro-San to 6 gallons water OR 1 oz. Gil Chlor 12.5 II to 5 gallons water. Circulate solution for at least 2 minutes. Drain.
