EstroPLAN is an injection to induce luteolysis in beef and dairy cattle. The luteolytic action of estroPLAN injection can be utilized to manipulate the estrous cycle to better fit certain management practices, to terminate pregnancies resulting from mismatings, and to treat certain conditions associated with prolonged luteal function. estroPLAN (cloprostenol sodium) is FDA-approved for intramuscular use to induce luteolysis in dairy cattle to manipulate the estrous cycle. Inject 2 ml intramuscularly; check with your veterinarian on recommended usage and synchronization programs. EstroPLAN (Cloprostenol Sodium 250 mcg/ml) is an analogue of prostaglandin F2-alpha.
