Durvet Oral Calf Feeder [3 qt]

This semi-rigid plastic oral calf feeder bottle allows quick and easy fluid administration to calves. Re-usable and resists punctures and tears while remaining flexible. The probe is made to fit comfortably into the esophagus while its soft, rounded end works to prevent damage to the mouth and esophagus. Molded plastic markings on the bottles allow accurate measurement and administration of fluids.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Fill container with milk, milk replacer, colostrum or electrolytes and screw on the cap. Restrain the animal and with a grip on the animal’s head, carefully place probe in mouth and gently slide probe down throat angling for the back left corner of the mouth. Allow the animal to swallow the tube and ease the tube down the esophagus.
When probe is in place open clamp and allow fluid to flow. Administer the fluids at a slow rate to prevent regurgitation. Gently remove probe from throat when finished and clean feeder immediately.
