Drench Mate Drink is designed to jump-start the growth of the rumen microbes and to provide critical vitamins and other co-factors that may limit the metabolism of fats and carbohydrates. In addition, Drench Mate Drink helps correct the physiological imbalance caused by the loss of fluids, electrolytes and buffers with calving. B vitamins, including niacin, are included to improve liver function and reduce the risk of ketosis and other problems related to liver lipid metabolism. Replaces minerals and critical electrolytes lost during calving. Specific micro-nutrients and immune stimulants enhance antioxidant status and immune function. Enhances absorption and utilization of nutrients. Helps stimulate appetite to encourage increased DMI and assist in breaking down feeds into absorbable nutrients.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Feed Drench-Mate Drink right after freshening and before the cow drinks anything else. Mix approximately 27 ounces (3.5 cups; cup included in bag) into 4 gallons of warm water at a temperature of 90°F to 105°F. The solution should turn ORANGE. Stir well and let the cow drink. The temperature of the initial water is critical and with water below 90°F the aroma will be less and the cow may not drink voluntarily. Just before feeding, the temperature of the Drench-Mate Drink should be about 77°F. It is recommended to supply another 4 gallons of Drench-Mate Drink within 12 hours of freshening if the cow is still weak or appetite (dry matter intake) is still low. Do not feed dry powder to cattle. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. For animal use only.
