Deccox-M (decoquinate 0.8%) medicated powder is to be added to whole milk for the prevention of coccidiosis in ruminating and non-ruminating calves, including veal calves caused by Eimeria bovis and E. zuernii. Medicated powder to be added to whole milk for the prevention of coccidiosis in ruminating and non-ruminating calves, including veal calves, Deccox prevents disease caused by Eimeria bovis and Eimeria zuernii. Mixing easily with milk, it’s a convenient, effective and safe way to combat coccidiosis in young calves. Enteric diseases account for more than 50% of unweaned calf mortality. Coccidiosis is a prevalent enteric disease that damages the intestinal lining and limits calves' ability to absorb nutrients critical to growth and immune function. Feed for at least 28 days during periods of coccidiosis exposure or when experience indicates that coccidiosis is likely to be a hazard.

Prepare mixture fresh daily. Add 0.5 teaspoons per 60 lbs body weight of powder to milk and mix thoroughly. Feed daily for at least 28 days during periods of coccidiosis exposure.

Dosage: Feed at rate of 22.7 mg/100 lb body weight for at least 28 days.

Mixing Directions

Mix Deccox-M into the total amount of whole milk (0.5 to 1.5 gallon per calf daily) needed for the number of calves to be fed, using level measuring cups, teaspoons (tsp) or tablespoons (TBS). Prepare fresh daily and feed each calf an equal portion of the total amount of medicated whole milk prepared as shown below.
