Component Implant Applicator Blue

Used for injecting Component ZE with Tylan implants. The wide, finger-grip trigger gives you stability to ensure proper placement; with a smooth action trigger to reduce hand-fatigue. The cartridge belt holds 20 implants for fewer reloads. A chamber window allows for quick checks of dose status. Advance slide-pump action advances doses rapidly for more time to focus on implant placement.

INSTRUCTIONS

To load

• Balance the implanter over the Open hand. Do not squeeze the trigger.
• With your free hand, pull back the advance slide completely (3 inches) to align front of the slide with arrow on side of implanter. Do not squeeze trigger.
• Insert the cartridge belt tab end first and tab toward rear of implanter.
• Push the cartridge belt completely into bottom of handle until it is flush with bottom edge of implanter.
• Secure implanter with index finger just under needle collet and push advance slide completely forward. Check the chamber window on either side of implanter to ensure dose is in place. Ready to implant.

Before implanting the next animal, clean the needle with alcohol, with the plunger rod extended.

Cleaning and maintenance

Thoroughly clean the gun after each use by removing the needle collet with the plunger rod extended. Disinfect with alcohol.

Pull back advance slide completely to withdraw the plunger rod. Clean the dose passage in the end of the implanter with alcohol and a cotton swab or pipe cleaner.

If implanter becomes extremely dirty, submerge and wash in hot water. Thoroughly dry before next use. The use of soap or detergent is NOT recommended.
