Chlamydia Abortus Bacterin [100 mL] (50 ds)

Chlamydia Abortus Bacterin is for use in vaccinating healthy ewes to aid in the control of ovine enzootic abortion. 60 day withdrawal. Supplied as a 10 dose or a 50 dose bottle. This product has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy ewes against Ovine Enzootic Abortion. This product was licensed prior to the requirement to establish a minimum age for use. The duration of immunity is unknown.

Ingredients
Chlamydia Abortus Bacterin is an aqueous suspension of inactivated cultures of Chlamydia abortus emulsified with a mineral oil adjuvant. Contains thimerosal as a preservative and permitted levels of penicillin and streptomycin.

Directions For Use
Do not vaccinate within 60 days before slaughter. Shake well before use. Use entire contents when first opened. Store at 2-8° C. Do not freeze. Do not mix with other products. Use of oil adjuvants may result in formation of a transient or more permanent granuloma of small to moderate size.

Instructions
Indications: Chlamydia Abortus Bacterin is for use in vaccinating healthy ewes to aid in the control of ovine enzootic abortion. Not cleared for use in goats.

Dosage and Administration: Administer the first dose of Chlamydia Abortus Bacterin at least 60 days before ewes are exposed to rams. The second dose should be administered 30 days later. Revaccinate annually. Each of the two (2) doses should be 2 ml administered Subcutaneous.

Storage: Store in dark at 2° to 7°C (35° to 45°F). Do not freeze. Shake well. Use entire contents when first opened. Sterile needles and syringes by boiling in clean water.

Caution: Chlamydia Abortus Bacterin has a 60 day withdrawal. Consult a veterinarian before administering vaccines.
