Coburn Oral Calf Feeder Bag [2.5 Quart]

Calf Fluid Feeder is designed to safely administer colostrum or necessary fluids to combat calf scours and dehydration. Bag is made out of non-toxic heavy grade plastic. Tear-shaped ball is designed so esophageal probe cannot be inserted into the trachea. The smooth flexible tubing is 48" long with the last 16" reinforced with a rigid plastic tube. This bag was originally developed for enemas for larger calves. It has also found use as an oral calf feeder. With a short rigid end probe to help ease passage, it has a round probe end with side port, which helps prevent occlusion.

For oral feeding: Grip the calf’s head and insert the tube using the right hand. Slowly push to the back of the throat and allow the animal to swallow the tube. Insert a few more inches and allow the fluid to flow. Do not administer too quickly to prevent regurgitation. Slowly remove when all the fluids are gone.
