The X-Spurt paddle makes CMT testing a fast and efficient one-hand operation. The 10-fl.-oz. reagent reservoir is also the handle for the paddle. Milk is entered on the paddle. A quick squeeze of the handle then enters equal amounts of reagent at the same time into all four samples. Swirling the paddle mixes the samples for usual coagulation recognition.

The Mastitis Test Paddle X Spurt is divided into four wells, when this is used in combination with the CMT Fluid it is easy to detect infections and be able to narrow it down to which udder is infected. The Mastitis Test Paddle X Spurt makes the job of testing cattle extremely convenient. The handle holds the CMT fluid, when the handle is squeezed equal portions of the fluid are dispensed into each well. This makes the test cleaner and quicker to administer.

Milk is entered in the paddle chambers and the paddle tilted in the normal way to reduce the samples to the usual 3ml (0.1fl.oz). A quick squeeze of the X-Spurt handle then enters equal amounts of reagent at the same time to all four samples. Swirling the paddle mixes the samples for usual coagulation recognition. The bottle capacity is 300ml, enough to RMT test about 15 cows.
