California Bander Applicator Tool

The California Bander is a stainless steel tool which applies stretchy surgical tubing for fast and easy bloodless castrating and is suitable for all ages and breeds. A foam coating on the handle helps hands stay comfortable and flexible. With practice, castrating can be done in just a few seconds per animal. The California Bander provides an easy, quick, clean and bloodless castration for animals of all sizes. This stainless steel tool applies 6 inch natural latex bands and has an aluminum T-clip attached, which fits into a slot on the tool. The band is stretched around the scrotal sack, locked back into the clip and the tool is removed. The fastest, easiest, bloodless castration tool you have ever used! The tool is made of stainless steel with a soft foam handle. Precut, 6 in. natural latex bands have an aluminum T-clip attached to one end. To use, simply place the clip into the slot of the tool, stretch the band around the scrotal sac, and lock the other end of the band onto the clip. The clip will hold the band tightly and securely without crimping. The band and tool are then separated by tilting the tool slightly backwards. No need to cut the band. Easy to use, it saves time and money. For use on animals of all sizes. California bands not included.

INSTRUCTIONS
Slip the tool onto your left hand. With the right hand, place the clip of the band to the slot of the tool. Hold the free end of the band between the first and second fingers of the left hand. Doing so will help the clip stay steady while you stretch the band.

Grasp the scrotal sac and hold the tool firmly against it. Lock the band into the clip by pulling the stretched band down the center slot all the way to the bottom. When the clip is down, pull the band to the right corner of the T-slot on the clip to lock it. (Be sure to keep the band fully stretched as you pull it around, because it can’t be tightened once it is locked in the clip.)

Release the clip from the tool by slightly tipping it backward; this will leave the band with the clip attached on the scrotal sac. The rubber tube does not need to come off. (If you can fit your finger between the band and the scrotal sac you do not have the band tight enough).

The loops are not supplied with the California Bander, they need to be ordered separately.
