Zoetis Bovi-Shield Gold FP 5 L5 Cattle Vaccine is designed for the use in healthy cows and heifers prior to breeding to prevent calves from being infected by BVD Types 1 and 2. Also aids in preventing abortion caused by bovine virus diarrhea (BVD virus Types 1 and 2) and infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR, bovine herpesvirus Type 1). It aids in preventing respiratory disease caused by IBR, BVD Types 1 and 2, PI3 and BRSV and diseases caused by five strains of leptospirosis. Contains modified live IBR, BVD Types I & II, PI3, BRSV plus the 5 strains of Lepto.

General directions: Vaccination of healthy cattle is recommended. Rehydrate vaccine just before use. Administer 2-ml dose intramuscularly. In accordance with the Beef Quality Assurance guidelines, this product should be administered in the muscular region of the neck.

Primary vaccination: Administer a single 2-ml dose intramuscularly to breeding cows and heifers 1 month before breeding or being added to the herd.

Revaccination: Annual revaccination with a single dose of Bovi-Shield GOLD FP 5 L5 is recommended. Good animal husbandry and herd health management practices should be employed.

Dosage: 2 mL IM. Bovi-Shield Gold FP 5 L5 may be administered to pregnant cattle and calves nursing pregnant cows provided they were vaccinated, according to label directions. 21 day slaughter withhold.
