This universal drain plug de-icer mounts securely into the tank's drain hole to keep the heating element away from livestock. Durable stainless steel heating element is thermostatically controlled and features over-temperature protection for safe, efficienct operation. Safe for horses and other livestock, and safe in both plastic and metal tanks. Recommended for tanks 100-300 gallons. Includes a patented cord that detaches to pass through a drain hole. 6-foot cord with durable anti-rub protector. LOCKNDRY compatible. cULus Listed. 1500 Watts, 120 Volts, 60 Hz. Fits all stock tanks that have 3/4" drain holes. The power cord separates in order to fit through small drain holes. By mounting through the drain hole, the electrical cord is kept out of the water. Comes with a 6-ft cord and a built-in thermostat.
