Recording Tube Information on the Sample Submission Form
When filling out the Sample Submission Form, label tubes one through the end with the corresponding animal number written on the sheet only, not on the tube. This facilitates better recording and accuracy.
In the photo at left, only the tube number (two) is written on the tube. On the sample submission list, the animal identification number is included next to tube number two.
Box/Tube Organization Place sequentially numbered tubes in the box starting in the front left corner, moving to the right. See below box diagram for clarification.
