Walkease is the new hoof repair block from Shoof. Walkease has been created as an early intervention hoof claw prosthetic. It is not intended to replace other conventional claw shoes currently on the market. The Walkease block is made from flexible EV material that is soothing for the cow to walk on. The greatest advantage of the Walkease is its speed and ease of application. Walkease blocks can be used either way up so suit both left and right claws. The block should stay on from 7-14 days ehich is generally long enough for the treated claw to have made a recovery in cases where the trauma was quite mild.

After this period the block will have worn away on it's own and so there is no need for handling the animal again to remove the block.

Walkease Hoof Blocks are designed for an early-intervention treatment of lameness in cattle. The hoof claw is cleaned and rasped smooth before a small amount of the special pre-mixed glue is applied and the block then fitted and held for 15 to 25 seconds after which the foot is quickly lowered to the ground and the full weight of the animal applied to allow tight bonding of the block onto the hoof.

Used as an early-intervention hoof treatment. 10 Small (red), 10 Medium (yellow), 10 Large (blue) or 10 Wedge (white) hoof blocks are available. Also available is 100 large blue blocks.
