Speedy Drencher (2.5 Liter)

Speedy Drencher is a bottle of drenching for calf with the same characteristics as the bottle Speedy Feeder : 3 feed rates, ergonomic handle, a bottle neck with large opening and a wide base for greater stability. The lid and the drenching probe are suitable for bottle Speedy Feeder.

Speedy Drencher cattle drencher has been developed from Shoof’s famous Speedy Feeder calf feed bottle. This drencher uses a standard and well-proven design rigid drench probe which gives a useful flow-adjustable stomach feeder. The probe assembly (probe with lid) is available separately to fit your standard Speedy Feeder bottle. Calves are born with little immunity to disease. Six hours after birth the gut absorption ability reduces one-third. After 24 hours it can only absorb 11% of antibodies fed to it. Very little extra protection is achieved in later feeds. Latest recommendations from researchers are for feeding 2lt of good quality colostrum, preferably in one feed, within the first 6-11 hours after birth. The best way to achieve this input is directly into the stomach 6-11 hours after birth with our 2lt Speedy Drencher.
