Q: What Is ProPreg?
ProPreg is a probiotic gel containing three native and beneficial Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB) that are naturally abundant in the reproductive tract of healthy cows. Q: How quick is the ProPreg administration?
ProPreg is simple and quick to administer. You hold the tail, wipe the cow, insert the applicator, two-clicks, withdraw, wipe the applicator tip, and move to the next cow. Healthy Cow time and motion studies support less than 15 seconds per cow.

ProPreg is administered into the vaginal canal through a flexible applicator tube. The tube is connected to a ProPreg cartridge that fits into an applicator gun. To administer, cows are restrained in lock-ups, palpation rails, in free stalls, or anywhere that limits movement and

Q: What about sanitation and biosecurity?
The applicator tip is cleaned using a 0.9 % Hydrogen Peroxide wipe between uses. Before applying ProPreg, the cow’s vulva should be clean and dry. Many use a spray bottle with water, some soap, and paper towel to dry the area to assure a clean administration target. See ProPreg instructions for specific administration techniques.
