Patterson UAA Universal Animal Antidote Gel [300 mL]

UAA Gel (Universal Animal Antidote Gel) contains activated charcoal for emerency treatment of poisoning of dogs, cats, goats and sheep due to oral ingestion of organic chemicals such as pesticides. Kaolin adds additional absorbing properties while protecting the intestional lining. UAA (Universal Animal Antidote) GEL is also indicated for food poisoning (garbage intoxication) and grain overload in ruminants. Contains activated hardwood charcoal and thermally activated attapulgite clay in an aqueous gel suspension. For use as emergency first aid for combating poisoning caused by the accidental ingestion of insecticides, herbicides, organic chemicals, and intestinal toxins from bacteria. Also great for treating food poisoning and neutralizing toxins absorbed from garbage eating. Used in the treatment of accidental poisoning of cattle, horses, goats, dogs and cats as emergency first aid. Contains activated hardwood charcoal and kaolin in an aqueous gel suspension.

DIRECTIONS
Recommended Oral Dosage:

Dogs and Cats: 1 to 3 mL per kilogram (2.2 lb) of body weight. The use of a stomach tube is recommended with this syringe.

Large Animals: 1 to 3 mL per kilogram (2.2 lb) of body weight. A dose syringe may be used. However, the use of a stomach tube is recommended for comatose or severely debilitated animals. For cattle and horses, it is recommended that the entire contents of one tube (300 mL) of UAA be given.

Proper supportive therapies such as parenteral fluids and injectable antidotes (to counteract the physiological effects of the poison) are recommended as a part of the treatment. If indicated or necessary repeat the dosage of UAA GEL after 1 to 4 hours, or until the symptoms subside.
