Electrolyte Plus Multi Species Supplement [6 oz]

Concentrated nutritional supplement fortified with dextrose, glycine, sodium bicarbonate and direct-fed microbials. A source of live, naturally occurring microorganisms, it is for use in animals from two days of age to weaning and for adult animals. Helps correct dehydration, restore good bacteria to the intestines and absorb toxins. Beef and dairy calves, horses and foals, sheep and lambs, goats and kids, sows and piglets , alpacas, llama and alpaca crias, fawns and elk calves. 
Contains sodium, potassium and chlorine to allow for better water and nutrient absorption in the small intestine. It also contains glycine which promotes rapid, efficient electrolyte absorption. Dehydration in baby animals can be very serious. If scours worsen or do not improve, or if the animal appears dehydrated, contact your veterinarian immediately. The beneficial bacterium consists of Bifidobacterium lactis, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus licheniformis, and Lactobacillus lactis.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Please see the following table for specific mixing and feeding instructions for each animal. Using the plastic measuring cup enclosed in the bag or pail, mix the required amounts of Electrolytes Plus powder into warm water. Add powder to water and mix thoroughly until completely dissolved. The enclosed measuring cup holds approximately 6 ounces (170 grams) dry powder by weight, equal in volume to a standard dry kitchen cup.
For best results, do not mix Electrolytes Plus powder into milk or milk replacer. Feed the mixed Electrolytes Plus solution separately, in between normal milk feedings, to provide supplemental fluids and electrolytes. Continue feeding Electrolytes Plus solution for 2 to 3 days, until scours have stopped and hydration is normal, or as directed by your veterinarian
